Judging by the title, most people would probably skip reading this article and move on to something more exciting. Don't worry, I won't try to sell anything. The purpose of this article is to try to show the reader why solar energy is more effective. Is it possible that someone actually proves this or is it just an opinion? Both energy sources have their advantages and disadvantages. But which is the right one? Read on to find out more. First, even though solar energy is more effective, wind energy has some effective qualities that make readers prefer it. For example, wind energy reduces greenhouse gas emissions by using turbines, which produce energy and electricity, and can reduce electricity costs. The indigenous materials used to build wind turbines promote the domestic economy. Wind energy opens up new markets and new perspectives. “People couldn't escape the air even if they wanted to” (Duke, 2). Wind energy is also one of the cheapest renewable energy technologies available today. The wind is free and can be captured efficiently. The wind is renewable, sometimes it could be just a light breeze or maybe a strong gust of wind. And some days there may be no wind at all. One day it might be windy enough to barely keep you standing, and another day it would just be quiet. But here's the thing, wind isn't always there (Energy Matters, 2) Secondly, here's a list of the difficult consequences of having a wind turbine, rather than a solar panel. In the past, wind turbine blades have accidentally killed birds that became trapped in their path. Solar panels, which have also incidentally killed birds, are not entirely innocent either.
