The following article examines Kemetic Orthodoxy, an Egyptian revival religion that has developed a following largely through Internet communication. Most people who become members of Kemetic Orthodoxy learn about this faith, meet other believers, convert, and worship online. To compare and contrast religion, researchers used Wicca as the second Internet religion. Using critical thinking methods to analyze the article, the following was discovered, there are several assumptions, ambiguities, errors and personal biases within the article. The data and methods used to gather information to write the article required sixteen weeks of participation in the article. an online group, face-to-face, phone and email interviews with the founders, priest, priest-in-training and a member of Kemetic Orthodoxy. There is no mention of such information collected on the Wicca religion. This is an oversight by the authors or distorted intent in the written documentation. The author of the article provides an overview of the religion of Kemetic Orthodoxy, but no similar information is provided about the Wicca religion. Reading the article, I notice that there are several errors throughout the document. The first that is called an existential fallacy is the following statement: "In Gardnerian Wicca, people see themselves as part of nature and, consequently, as empowered gods and goddesses (Krogh)." This statement was made by Helen Berger, a professor at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, who carried out her research in the 1980s and 1990s. What is not stated is the difference between Gardnerian Wicca and US Wicca. Gardnerian Wicca is European in nature, since it began and still is never......halfway through the document......the authors were trying to analyze, whether they are making a comparison between the two religions or how do they compare with each other on the Internet? The reader has no real idea. The article reads like a public relations press release about Kemetic Orthodoxy and the Wicca comparison serves to make Kemetic Orthodoxy seem bigger and better. What are the findings on the religion of Kemetic Orthodoxy and the religion of Wicca? Both are on the Pagan Network¯ what does Pagan Network mean? It is a religion that is becoming more and more known throughout the world and the number of members is growing. As far as the research and authors of the article are concerned, it was poorly done. There were several established areas on Wicca and Witchcraft that were taken from research that was more than ten years old; what they should have done is gather updated research and interviewed Wiccans just like they did with the Kemetic group.
