Heavy rain fell on the afternoon of May 5, 2009, Shanghai. It was the day Mayday, one of the most famous Taiwanese rock bands, held DNA Mayday's "Creates" concert at Shanghai Hong Kou Football Stadium. One minute before the start of the concert, the stage staff reported the situation via headphones: “We are ready. Is there a problem with the scene?" "The wire on the main stage jams!" "The giant ball can't lift!" "Can anyone tackle it?" “The curtain is ready to fall.” "Not yet. Wait!" "There is no more time, forget it!" As the brightest lights shone on the stage accompanying the cheering of the fans, the team disappeared into the darkness and endless chaos. This appears at the beginning of a documentary film Live in Live (2013) which features behind-the-scenes footage, the journey and hardships that the popular Taiwanese band MayDay went through for their concerts "Every live concert is our battlefield" says the Taiwanese creative executive director Chou Youyang who began directing Mayday's concerts since 2009, from the DNA Creates Mayday World Tour in 2009 to the Nowhere World Tour in 2012. Each time Chou and his team are committed to realizing their project through well-prepared materials and extraordinary digital technology: according to Chou there are at least five high-definition LCD screens in every live concert, the largest in the center, two surrounding it and the other two places on the edge which also allow the public who buys low-cost concert tickets (they are usually seated far away or in the “blind corner”) to also enjoy the audiovisual banquet; each audience is given an interactive LED light stick before entering the concert, the color and flashing frequency of which...... middle of paper ......I will be blamed by thousands of people while when there succeed, they are already on the way to the next city."
