Fahrenheit 451 is a classic book read by many generations. It is known as a science fiction book about the future. The author of this novel is Ray Bradbury, who loved writing since he was a boy. Bradbury's book Fahrenheit 451 was published in 1953. Bradbury died in 2012, but lives on in the words of the more than 50 books he wrote. Fahrenheit 451, previously titled The Fireman, is his best-known book, and even though it only has 190 pages, it explains almost everything that happens in the book. Fahrenheit 451 will live for many decades. Fahrenheit 451 is set in the future, in America, where people don't read books, go out, or be creative in any way. Many people only watch TV. The main character, Guy Montag, is a fireman who instead of stopping the fire, starts burning books. They burn at 451 degrees, that's why that's the title. One day, Guy starts wondering about books, so he reads... Illegal books. One of his wife's friends sees Guy reading a book and says she was disgusted by it. She soon reports Guy to the fire station when she sees him reading...
