Her main claim is that transgenders have no claims in feminism and don't have the experience to say otherwise. Caitlyn Jenner says, “My brain is much more female than male,” he told her, explaining how he knew he was transgender” (Sawyer). Elinor Burkett disagrees and supports her statement by providing evidence from an established neuroscientist from the British University of Aston, Gina Rippon, who concluded a study stating that it is not possible to know what kind of brain it is simply by looking at it (Burkett ). In fact, Elinor Burkett even includes a link to an article about this information in her article. Elinor Burkett uses Gina Rippon as a logos argument establishing the ethics of the neuroscientist. the rhetorician uses these arguments to refute Caitlyn Jenner's previous statement. The use of ethos and logo is intended to further convince the reader that Caitlyn Jenner and many transgender statements are lacking, but this is not the only thing the rhetorician uses. In the quote he maintains the same words as the interviewer when they called Caitlyn Jenner using the pronoun “he”. Although small, it has once again made his arguments about ethics and dogmatism fallacious. Elinor Burkett uses these pronouns as a way to implant the idea that Caitlyn Jenner is not female and should be considered male. With these arguments, the rhetorician tries to guide you in his way of doing things
