Summary: This article explains the effects that “decriminalizing sex work” will have on people who work in the sex industry (McCain). Putting those “vulnerable populations” around the world in “greater danger” (McCain). A main point of this article is the author's view that "a buyer or trafficker who takes advantage of someone's lack of choice for his own financial or sexual gain is an exploiter of human rights and should be criminalized" (McCain ). Due to the harsh fact that these men will always get what they want one way or another, these men believe they have control over their victims. It is not safe to be involved in the sex business. These prostitutes will work with a blank awareness of who they will supply that night or even that man's character. These women may simply be trying to make it in life, but little do they know that their client could easily show up with a "kill kit" and try to harm them just because they are victims of prostitution, something these women see as their life
