The sheer sight of the natural phenomenon of fire in the sky reveals to Victor that his scientific experiment parallels the magnificent power of electricity. He harnessed fire, controlling it for a brief moment in time to create a living creature. The meaning of fire, which is uncontrollable, devastates its predecessors as the creature created from fire. The creature begins to metamorphose into the uninhibited characteristics of nature resulting in destruction and abuse of its unknown power capabilities.
