Time Management Strategies Time management has been one of the biggest obstacles in my high school career. Unfortunately it gets better gradually. Procrastination has been the name of the game for me for a while. Needless to say, I had poor time management skills. I often wondered why I allowed myself to do this almost every time I had to do something. I didn't like the trend I was in and needed another way to get things done. Then I realized that being a procrastinator was only hindering my potential to become the student I knew I could be. So with a little more discipline I can do my job to the best of my ability. I have taken a few courses in the past that covered this topic. So all the tricks of the trade stuck in my brain. The difficult thing was putting that knowledge to use. In this article I want to find some more interesting aspects about time management and bring them to the forefront. I'll start with some obvious solutions to time management. First of all I will name the most used solution, make a plan. When you plan what you're going to do, how you're going to do it, and when you're going to do each step, things become much easier to accomplish. Planning is essential for a productive workday or completed work. Planning starts right away. When you receive your assignment or job to do. You need to plan how you will spend your time doing this work. Secondly you should reduce distractions. Distractions can range from phones, computers, the internet, anything on your desk, television, basically anything that takes your attention away from your work. Writing an article on the computer is an easy way to distract yourself from work. While you can't eliminate all distractions, you can exercise... middle of paper... help me become the most organized person I can be. I am happy to have had the opportunity to delve deeper into this topic and will strive to be less of a procrastinator. References1.
