“Religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when religion is considered to be the creation of one or more superhuman agents , which usually involve devotion and ritual observances, and often contain a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs,” as Webster's dictionary states.1 Religion is fundamentally the belief in a higher being who controls people's lives and, it ultimately decides the fate of a being after death. Today there are approximately 21 major religions, each with thousands of different denominations, which have branched out from beneath them. Christianity alone is responsible for 32 of them! There are so many different religions due to the difference of opinion in beliefs, and in different denominations the differences in beliefs are very minor.
