The ecosystem is an extremely controversial topic throughout the United States. We talk about the ecosystem everywhere, from news broadcasts to radio commercials. In reality, not many people understand how important the ecosystem is to humans. Every action has the potential to impact the ecosystem. The environment and the way people treat mother earth is a strong topic for many people. The quote “what you give to the earth, is what you get back” really makes us consider what their impact on the environment is. This leads to the question: what is the world headed for? Many people have tried to help the ecosystem and are trying to improve what is already ruined. The world is trying to unite to help save the earth. Many groups have evolved because of horrible things happening that hit everyone close to home. Americans drive gasoline-powered cars every day of their lives. Without a car it would be difficult to go to work, to go shopping and even on holiday. Gasoline emissions from your car are ruining the air vital for breathing. Gas-powered cars are the biggest producers of greenhouse gases that are killing the environment. A new strategy implemented in the twenty-first century to help the ecosystem is electric cars. Chevrolet has grown in the automotive industry and now stands out from all other competitors. Electric cars are new around the world and many people have taken steps to help the environment. Cars emit carbon dioxide as part of their emissions. Studies have shown that burning one gallon of gas creates twenty pounds of carbon dioxide and that the average automobile emits approximately six tons of carbon dioxide each year. (LiveScience) Cities with almost half paper will help the ecosystem and, above all, the vital air that all humans need. If everyone helps the environment, the ecosystem will benefit from the movements that the future generation implements. Electric cars will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The air that everyone loves to breathe will become cleaner and more beneficial for all humans. Since the air is so clean, everyone will help keep it at the quality it should be. Electric cars can be the next movement to help the entire world. Works Cited Busch, Chris. “Urbanization can actually reduce greenhouse gas emissions.” LiveScience. Chris Busch, November 21, 2013.
