Experienced the way the majority unintentionally masks their racism. They believe their strategies are not racist, but their attempts not to be racist make things worse. They try to control minorities instead of listening to their problems and using their privilege to actually help. The Brotherhood is a predominantly white Marxist-minded organization. The Brotherhood recruits African American men to fill certain positions in order to spread the word about an experiment and methodology they have developed to promote equality in communities. However, all their methods did was control how African Americans think, how they convey their ideals, and what jobs they can do. They took the stereotypical view they had of African Americans and designed a model for how they think African Americans act to build peace. African Americans are not guinea pigs for social and environmental experiments. They are not a species that came to America and now needs a plan to control them. America is now a land where millions of people from diverse backgrounds can influence others through their cultural experiences. The Brotherhood's use of the term "brother" is a way of including themselves in a culture they do not understand. The only reason they cared about how African Americans thrived in the North is because they noticed that culture
