This offering is handled as a consultant by the CEO of Starbucks. I decided to decline their offer because Starbucks and McDonald's are on two different spectrums based on their business. It also doesn't seem right for Starbucks to sell its products at McDonald's. If that happened, Starbucks would lose what it would be known for. For example, Starbucks offers high-quality coffee at a premium price. On the other hand, McDonald's offers fast and convenient food at low prices. The food is known to be low-end in quality and unhealthy, as it is high in fat and cholesterol. The positioning of both companies' stores is distinctive with Starbucks resembling a home and office-like location. At Starbucks it is a place where you can relax and it is more attractive to meet friends/family rather than McDonald's. At McDonald's, it is a place of convenience and is equipped for entry and exit for quick and timely efficiency. This is a very good reason why Starbucks should not be sold by McDonald's because the settings are different from each other and the company serves its purpose as described
