Have you ever wondered what it would be like to walk in and see the beautiful architect of the Globe Theatre? The importance of the Globe Theater is that theatrical rights change the way stories are performed to audiences. The Globe Theaters were popular in Shakespeare's time and Shakespeare's plays are still performed there every day. The Globe Theater was built in 1599 in Southwark, London. The theater is a circular building with 20 sides and 3 floors high. The theater was built with frame, plaster, brick and straw. The theater can also hold thousands of people at once. Many of Shakespeare's plays are performed there, including Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear and Hamlet. The theater was intended for entertainment but also for bear hunting, gambling and immoral purposes. Inside the theater is a large rectangular stage that projects about 40 feet.
