After the unfortunate life-changing event, I discovered my true meaning in pursuing a law degree for reasons other than simply enjoying the law. Learning from lawyers how to assist clients is helpful, but what pushed me even more was how helpless I felt during my traumatic experience. It allowed me to understand how potential clients might feel at their lowest moments and how important it is to advocate for people when they need someone by their side. I also feel in my heart that the best way to honor my brother would be to use my future law degree to help people
