It is a good statistic of how the wrong people can still get legal guns. However, this was in 2007. Illinois is the last state to pass the Conceal law and Carry. The benefit of this is that Illinois witnessed all the other states and their bids and takeovers on this law; this helped create the Illinois concealed carry law.
