Some additional helpful things it does are: sets up quickly, allows patients to do more, and is more cost effective. Epic was named the best software overall in 2013. It continues to get high marks on its speed. Furthermore, the Epic system is not only useful for employees, but it is also very useful for patients. As I mentioned in a previous statement, the Epic system allows the patient to be able to log in and see their health history. This helps the patient because they can keep track of their entire medical history, as well as print out information they may need instead of going through the actual facility. According to a fellow nurse of mine, I had interviewed her about this product. He says "it's a great system and very easy to work with." He said it helps a lot to have the e-learning course to get started with the system when you are a new employee. At its current location, all the employees love the system and love being able to learn live from day one
