IntroductionPersonality TheoriesHuman personality is a complex area of study. This is because in different situations a human being will represent a certain behavior and this may be part of a culture that develops over a long period. There have been several observations on explanations regarding human personality. Over time, theories have been developed that attempt to explain this complex human phenomenon. Personality theories have taken different approaches that try to make people understand human personality. It is evident that no single theory can effectively describe personality as a whole. This is because personality is not a stagnant thing but rather it is an ever-evolving thing. It evolves because it is an aspect of the human being and of course the human being changes with time. What they were 100 years ago is not what they are today. Even in the space of a week, a human being can decide to completely change his behavior due to encountering a compelling situation. Therefore, personality theories can be said or believed to be valid only for a certain period of time. However, there are concepts embedded in personality theories that give them long-term validity. Among the many theories of personality is trait theory. It was an invention of Gordon Allport who called it dispositional theory. Trait theory fundamentally revolves around a deep understanding of traits. Human traits are evaluated using several methods to determine patterns that characterize human behavior. The peculiarity of trait theory is that it assumes that human behavior is stable. According to this theory, environment and weather are some of the factors that do not influence human behavior in any way. Trait theory also states that... in the middle of the paper... lies the minimum threshold of human traits that can constitute behavior. It is also likely that future research will reveal how long certain observed traits can be accepted as traits. This is because trait theories have received incredible criticism, especially over their ability to predict certain behavior. However, it cannot be emphasized that trait theories have a laudable degree of objectivity. Another area that opens up space for trait theory studies is why individuals have different personality characteristics. Current academic works only focus on studying the behavior pattern where no one is involved in the task of determining the root cause of these patterns. Empirical tests are used to conduct the studies. However, it has been closely observed that sometimes a person behaves totally differently than what the assessment shows.
