By using technology, teens will be connected on a different level. A teenager's most precious possession is his or her cell phone. That said; texting while driving causes many accidents. 56% of teens reported talking on the phone while driving (DoSomething.org). If every new cell phone coming out came with a driver alert, that would also make the roads safer to drive on. The driving warning flashes red and makes a loud siren-like noise when a teenager exceeds the city speed limit. Driving alerts also block your phone's ability to text or call while the car is moving. This means the driver will have to stop to send a message or make a call. This solution will greatly reduce texting while driving, meaning cell phones would not be the cause of teenagers' cars
