Business Organizations My employer for the last 4 years has been Scottish Enterprise Borders. Using this organization as a case study will allow me to demonstrate that I have a clear understanding of how business organizations are structured. Scottish Enterprise Borders has a mission statement which communicates very clearly to staff, stakeholders and the public what we do.1. “Our aim is to help the people of the Scottish Borders create and sustain jobs, prosperity and a high quality of life.” The statement itself is our broadest possible communication of the organization's philosophy, purpose, objective, value and function. It describes the blueprint, purpose and drive behind what we do. It also reflects a realistic but forward-thinking determination about who Scottish Enterprise Borders is, who it serves, what it does and what it strives to achieve. Scottish Enterprise Borders has seven business objectives which underpin our overall strategy. All of our goals are customer, company and behavior driven.2. a) Our main objective as a consumer/customer is "To satisfy customers". We are committed to ensuring that staff are competent, experienced, continuously learning and able to mediate/indicate the right skills. c) At an operational level our main objective is "Results Driven". This objective encourages us at an operational level to achieve high results, focused on the future and aware of impacts...... half of the document ......one of the business functions deals with our strategy, business support, requests /European requests, rural issues and stakeholder relations.
