As I have grown and technology has advanced, more and more computers have been added to my learning experience. For example, when I was in third grade, our class had the first computer in the classroom, now there were two computers available for the students and the teacher. In fourth grade, my school received its first computer lab; a set of computers for the whole school. Once a semester, each class was given a day to use computers for learning. Of course, as technology rapidly changed and became more vital, computer labs were added in my school district. In middle schools, from fifth to eighth grade, 3 computer labs were accessible to classes. Although computers in the classroom were scarce, each teacher had their own personal laptop and a projector in the classroom, just like we have today. When I was in high school, the world was moving from cell phones to smartphones and so large desktop computers were being replaced with laptops. During my freshman year of high school, I went to a school with 6 computer labs and a set of school laptops. By my sophomore year, we had upgraded to two sets of laptops.
