Once again I started my day with my normal routine, without coffee, except now the symptoms seemed to resolve. My headache had finally started to subside and I felt refreshed. The haze I experienced on Wednesday seemed all but gone. I was optimistic that the whole day would stay that way, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. I still struggle during my daily workout, missing the leap with caffeine, but it was an improvement compared to Wednesday. I continued to keep my water intake a little higher than normal in hopes that this would help alleviate some of the symptoms, as well as fill the gaps where I normally drank coffee. Staying hydrated had the positive effect I had imagined, it seemed to give me a boost of energy that helped push me through the caffeine-free days. Friday was the easiest day of the three, the throbbing headache and feeling of lethargy I felt on Wednesday were a distant memory. I was no longer irritable and my energy levels seemed to normalize
