During warm-ups freshman year, I was lost in the crowd of everyone and afraid to be myself. During the first mile my sophomore year, I eased some of my nerves and started to become myself. Freshman year, mile two of my high school run, I worked on myself and really decided on the person I wanted to be. My senior year of high school, my third mile, was one of the best years to date and leaves me hopeful for the future.
