Obesity is a global government concern and problem that spans from childhood through adulthood. It has been such a governmental concern, with all the healthcare costs and self-harm, that governments have stepped up to help solve the problems of childhood obesity in schools by creating programs. These programs help children learn how to eat and stay active during school and how to do the same thing outside of school. This is a great achievement in helping prevent childhood obesity and will definitely carry the child into adulthood. The government has also sought to define its food stamp program and what foods food stamp recipients can purchase (Terrell, 2007). Which isn't a bad idea to begin with because it helps stop people from buying all the unhealthy foods. Make sure they get what they need even if they don't get what they want. Some argue that it is not right for the government to intervene in some aspects of a person's life, but the government is concerned about all the consequences that could arise from not helping to prevent obesity in children and that this would lead to lower life expectancy. life, to greater life expectancy. health and more governmental issues
