It is one of the most special festivals celebrated in the Newari community. Mostly in this festival, the Kumaris are from the Shakya community. There are many foods which are mainly prepared on special occasions like Bara, Samaya baji, Chhoela, Chatamari etc. These are mainly famous in Bandipur Bazaar where all the famous dishes prepared by all the restaurants are served. Due to heavy rain we could not visit Ghale gaun and Gorkha due to high risk of landslide.
