I was even more fascinated when I read about offshore platforms where oil and gas were extracted, produced and transported long distances via pipelines to refineries or transported by floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units. That day, a new desire and interest was born in me to join the world of engineering to research and provide better methods of exploration and exploitation.
