A series of carriages pulled by a monobloc engine sparked my fascination from a very young age. During the course, I found myself delving into topics such as Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines and Machine Design. Never fully satisfied with conventional classroom learning, I have tried to learn from every source possible. I insisted on training practically, industrially, which explains my prolonged stay in the laboratories. This resulted in me achieving an academic aggregate of 8.73 (CGPA) in my undergraduate study. A strong believer in hands-on training, I worked hard to immerse myself in the practical concepts of the field and found myself participating in other co-curricular activities beyond my classroom to explore the field in depth. I have completed a certification course on CATIA and ANSYS from Central Institute of Tool Design, India. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on engine blocks of various two- and four-wheeled vehicles during Ezenith's Fast Track Assembly and Disassembly Workshop. I learned with great interest how an engine works. I continued my internship at Indian South Central Railways, where I worked on turbochargers of diesel locomotives, which gave me in-depth knowledge of the design and functioning of turbochargers used in locomotives. My passion for cars and knowledge of drive systems increased. It was during the end of my third year that I had the opportunity to do an on-site internship in the production and inspection divisions of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, a well-known industry in the country. During this phase, I gained real temporal exposure to the manufacturing industry and how it works. I learned in detail, the challenges, problems faced in manufacturing and later learned the solutions and working. My interest in building materials was further strengthened when, together with a team of 24 people, I participated in the 2017 SAE BAJA championship.
