There are many different types of obstacles that college students face on the path to obtaining their degree. Sometimes these obstacles can be circumvented, while other times they seem so great that students drop out. My life as a college student may be more difficult than that of the typical student fresh out of high school, but I am determined to earn my degree. I have found that one of my biggest obstacles to staying on track has been the fact that I have been out of school for the past twenty years and out of the routine of learning in a classroom setting. At first I was a little intimidated by my classmates because of our age difference. Once classes started I realized I wasn't the only one who decided to go back to school. It was nice to know that
