I'm trying to lose weight right now. To lose even more weight I need to continue doing what I'm doing, but adding the right foods as substitutes to get adequate nutrition. This will affect my energy intake based on the amount of calories. I'm halfway there at 53%, but as I begin to incorporate exercise into my routine I will need to consume larger amounts of nutrients to reach my calorie intake level. This will help me keep my energy intake at the necessary level so I don't lose the energy I need for the day. My current calorie intake is below the recommended value and I have lost a few pounds. Over the course of three days my energy was greatly affected by the foods I ate. I was changing the way I eat with a higher intake of proteins and vegetables over carbohydrates.
