When you think about murder, drugs and nudity, I'm pretty sure not many people think of positive ideas. Electronics, such as television and computers, display this kind of thing regularly. Despite this explicit material, some people see the ever-improving technology as a wonderful addition to our lives. However, as time goes by, more and more people are starting to have doubts about what these technological developments are bringing. Children and teenagers should play and use their imagination; instead, they dedicate countless hours to various electronic devices ranging from tablets and computers to phones and TVs. These inventions often show explicit and inappropriate material that corrupts children and is slowly ruining society's social skills. Various electronic devices are often used to access useless websites, such as Twitter and Facebook, which ruin the social skills of society. More and more people are using social media on the Internet as a source of communication. This not only applies to children and adolescents, but also to adults. Using these types of websites as a means of communication causes a decrease in the social skills of many individuals. Many children and adolescents prefer to stay at home and interact with their friends via the Internet rather than going out with them. Before technology people were not afraid to walk up to a random person and talk to them. Now many friendships are formed through the Internet and these friendships are not authentic. When these “friends” meet in person, they find nothing to talk about. For example, I remember after watching Perks of be a Wallflower, a movie set in the early 1990s, my friends and I discussed how all the characters communicated in person and played games and talked during the meeting. Now…half of paper…but the personal relationships they could form at home or work are ruined due to the extra hours individuals spend with their electronic devices. Computers, TVs and various other electronic devices not only have the ability to destroy humanity, but have already begun to extinguish it. Due to these inventions, people of all ages are negatively affected by them. The social skills and morals of society have declined dramatically as technology has flourished. Some people don't see the negative aspects of these sources of entertainment; all they see are the professionals and they don't want to change anything about the amount of use of these inventions. But what will happen when the world reaches a point in time where humans are unable to function normally without these sources of entertainment due to their dependence on them? This doesn't seem like something the world should worry about??
