Topic > Abortion: Questions and Answers, by Dr. JC Willke

AbortionI have many thoughts about abortion and why it should be illegal everywhere. If there is a heartbeat and you "stop" it, it should be considered murder. I am simply stating my opinion here and what I think is right and wrong, but I will provide information and hard facts to support my reasoning as to why and how I think abortion should be illegal. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, abortion is “the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting from, or immediately following the death of the embryo or fetus: as a) spontaneous expulsion of a human fetus during the first 12 weeks of gestation b) induced expulsion of a human fetus c) expulsion of a fetus by a domestic animal often due to infection at any time before completion of the pregnancy. It's simply a monstrosity. I saw this website about the difference between abortion and murder, it made me think a lot more about this topic and how I really feel about it. This site asked you if you knew the difference between a “zygote,” an “embryo,” or a “fetus” and then proceeded to show 14 different images and ask you to think about which of these you would consider to be babies. I looked at all 14 photos, personally I would consider them children. Abortion is legal in every state in the United States. There are several ways to have an abortion. In the book Abortion: Questions and Answers, by Dr. JC Willke, he divided abortion methods into three categories: those that invade the uterus and kill the baby using instruments that enter the uterus through the cervix; those who kill the fetus by administering drugs and then induce labor and delivery of a dead baby; and those that invade the uterus via abdominal surgery. I... middle of paper... just as opposed as I am. I have never been so against something until after all the research I just did. I finally understand now why so many people are against abortion. Just because I have told you numerous facts about abortion, does not mean we directly know exactly what these women think and feel about having their baby aborted. I know that I personally could not abort a baby because I know that there is another human being growing and developing inside of me and it is my responsibility to take care of my actions and getting pregnant would have been my fault, not the baby's, so why would I kill him as if they had done something wrong. I'm sure that in other countries their forms of abortion could be just as bad as here in the United States. In any case, abortion is murder. You are killing a living, breathing, growing human bean, just like you and me.
