In the last few years of my life I have seen many changes, some positive and some not so positive. Change can be challenging and even crucial. Early believers would have come across this. You can see that a significant change has taken place, reading the gospels and the book of Acts it is obvious to the reader that the believers who followed Jesus would never be the same again. They had enjoyed a time of communion with Jesus and teaching from him. . But now he prepared them to understand that he would leave them. This was one of the factors that would turn the world of these believers upside down and provide the opportunity to turn the world upside down. Because he was teaching his disciples. He said to them: «The Son of man is about to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him and after three days he will rise again." (Mark 9:31) The disciples faced new challenges in their lives, Jesus was to be crucified and everyone would leave him. Then all the disciples abandoned him and fled (Mt 26.59} they were now discouraged, they abandoned their master, they seemed defeated and finished. But they were going through a transitional period from believers to believers of power who would win and turn the world upside down. Jesus he rose from the dead and now opens their minds to what the Scriptures say (Luke 24:45) now encourages them to stay in the city stay in the city until you are endued with power from on high.” (Luke 24:48) Qual was this power that Jesus talks about? And would this power make a difference in the life of the believer as we seek the answers to these questions is it important to study the book of Acts which is also commonly known as...... middle of paper.. ...., The apostle Paul would now help this growing group to spread the Gospel with the Gentile world. It is also crucial to see that God used the situations and circumstances and brought them together he extent of roads in the Roman Empire are legendary. Thousands of kilometers of roads connected the major cities and outlying areas of the Roman Empire, facilitating and encouraging travel throughout the Mediterranean world and beyond" and this would have helped early believers travel from place to place so that the his small group baptized in the holy spirit would have made a difference and changed the world forever without this baptism they could not and would not have made an impact on this world, it would not have mattered how many roads were built through the Roman empire, in the end it is It was the power of the Holy Spirit that made the difference.
