Growing up, children were taught not to be dishonest or lie to each other. They are taught that deceiving others is unethical and has been frowned upon as a negative trait. However, just as everything can be good or bad, deception, deception and lying can be used in a more positive aspect as long as the reasons for doing so are good. Hateful deception is used to ruin people's lives, while benevolent deception is used to improve the lives of others. Both types of deception affect an individual's life, happiness, and relationship with other individuals. In William Shakespeare's play, Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare develops the idea that deceptions do not always have to be malicious. Deception, whether intentional or unintentional, can be used to comedic or playful effect and can influence an individual's thoughts or feelings. It takes many forms, whether through misinterpretation, manipulation, or even specially designed schemes. These different forms of cheats can ultimately lead to entertainment and the pursuit of happiness or disaster and heartbreak. Many of the main characters in the play are victims of deception and deception and that is why they behave the way they do. They all have different reasons to deceive each other, however it is mainly used to achieve mutual happiness. Overall, deception plays a huge role in the pursuit of happiness. The play, Much Ado About Nothing, is an elaborate web of schemes and tricks. These patterns manipulate the thoughts and feelings of others to achieve certain motivations. An example of manipulation concerns the complicated relationship between Benedick and Beatrice. Although in Much Ado About Nothing deception is used comically and playfully to achieve certain motives, there are times when it is used maliciously. These deceptions and hateful lies can lead to heartbreak and disaster. It allows for loss of mutual trust and conflict between characters. However, these deceptions add entertainment and comedy to the show. There are also various examples of playful deceptions and misunderstandings. In these scenarios throughout the game, each main character witnesses acts of deception, good or bad. There the characters were able to learn from some misinterpretations. Overall, deception plays an important role in the pursuit of happiness. Not everything can come easily. There will be difficulties but in the end it will be worth it
