Do you know Tyler Clemti's story? He was a regular student attending Rutgers University in New Jersey. Tyler, after learning that a video had been streamed live on the Internet, committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. The video contained images of him and another male engaging in sexual intercourse. This is just one of the many horrible stories you hear coming from cyberbullying. The older generation considered bullying when someone was pushed, hit, taunted and insulted. With the technology we have available today, bullying has made its way into the media we know as cyberbullying. Today's society has found an avenue that channels angry, unhappy people to hurt unsuspecting victims. Cyberbullying occurs when one person threatens another via the Internet or other means of communication. It can be used to harm others for fun or malicious purposes. Cyberbullying is real bullying. There is always pain involved, be it emotional or physical. It can lead to suicide and even death of others. There are many ways a person can be harmed. Videos of an individual can be used and even fake names can be used, tricking victims into perpetrating them. Author, coward, whatever you want to call him, he is the public enemy. Unfortunately it is everywhere (I will refer to the Public Enemy, as he is). He's everywhere, if you want to join a fraternity and/or sorority at the University, he's there. At work, there are those who feel the need to do stupid and ridiculous actions that will hurt and harm others. It happens every day in the military. In 2001, while serving in the submarine force, a video was made of an obese sailor mixing truffles. As funny as it is... in the middle of the document... suicide and death are also presented above. An accident like this would have been impossible - or at least much less likely - 20 years ago, Natrona County District Attorney Mike Blonigen said. “It's probably only possible in our modern era.” Don't forget that even if you can't see a cyber bully, or the victim of a cyber bully, he is real. It is necessary to prevent this danger and get help. There are many out there who want to harm us, even those we don't know Never share your personal information; never meet someone face to face that you don't know you met online. Let those around you know where you are and what you're doing online. The most important thing is to protect your loved one from this dangerous enemy. Don't forget that once you upload information to the Internet, it stays there, it can be said that “If you wouldn't say it in person, don't say it online.”.
