The first thing I noticed was that most people talked about how we taught letter structure. According to them, we should have explained the structure of a letter better. Some also thought we should go through it with the whole class instead of just having two people present at the board to label the model. Our thought process when creating the mini-lesson was to mention that we had looked at the parts of a piece of writing last lesson, which would make labeling the letter easier. I know we should have taken a minute to put the words on the board so they could add them to their vocabulary. This would also help them carry out the activity in case they forgot and didn't know where to go with something. As I said in my personal reflection on the presentation, in the future if I were to do this lesson I would have a separate lesson on letter structure to focus more time on
