It is our responsibility to live a sustainable life. We must take the time to promote our economic, environmental and social sustainability in “greener” lifestyle habits. To do this, the Twin Ports region must establish well-developed education and employment plans for our communities that inform and take action to address sustainability through education, networking and action. Learning about the impact of humans on the natural world and how the environment affects our quality of life is one of the most important things a community can learn. Today, understanding this balance between natural, social, and political systems with respect to the environment is important to becoming an effective region leading environmental conservation, nonprofit organizations, and the scientific community. Furthermore, we must work together to motivate ourselves to work together to achieve a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle. We can do this by taking initiatives to develop our community and incorporate new, sustainable ideas to address environmental concerns. Furthermore, if these ideas are implemented, we can afford to facilitate collective action as a social responsibility in encouraging greener urban lifestyles in the Twin Ports area, where we can become a strong and active community linked to sustainable living. The first step toward adopting a greener urban lifestyle lies in planning the Twin Ports area with specific goals that have long-term visions anchored in progressive plans toward sustainable living. Every community is different and engaging the public is key. One approach to achieving a sustainable urban lifestyle involves organizations and individuals pursuing strategic strategies… middle of paper… that do not believe it is in our hands or out of reach. If we teach each other to develop these characteristics to promote greener ways of living, everyone can help each other. This could also provide jobs, internships and volunteer experiences in areas such as environmental awareness, education, natural resource management, environmental and urban planning and other ways. If the Twin Ports region focused on sustainable resource development, the opportunities for environmental sustainability could be endless. We live in a world where many of our passions include ways to help solve complex problems related to how our communities, our region and our surroundings affect the natural environment. Together, we can gain more insights into ways to further mitigate and implement sustainable practices in areas related to adopting a greener urban lifestyle.
