Review of US Foreign Policy towards IranIntroduction:Relations between the US and Iran have gone from bad to worse since the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Iran was considered a member of the “Axis of Evil” and the foreign policy of the United States towards it was built in this perspective. However, many internal, regional and global changes have led to a belief in the need to review foreign policy American attitude towards Iran. It is widely believed that a stable relationship with Iran will relieve pressure on the Obama administration and US foreign policy makers. This attempt to explain the evolution has led to the need to review the policy towards Iran and to provide US foreign policy towards Iran with a clear vision of Iranian domestic politics and its regional policy towards the states of the region and the prospects of these states as GOOD. It will conclude with key conclusions and recommendations for improving the effectiveness of U.S. foreign policy toward Iran. The need for a review of US foreign policy towards Iran: The need for a critical review of the Obama administration's foreign policy is significant, as much has changed about the security situation in the Middle East and Europe East in his second term. There are three significant reasons that suggest the need for a review of US foreign policy in general and towards Iran in particular. First, US strategic interests in the Middle East are challenged by Iranian ambitions to dominate the region. Iran is hardly involved in interventions in the internal affairs of other Arab states, through the creation or support of some Shia groups, in terms of promoting Iran's regional policies. Furthermore, despite the geopolitical and economic preva...... middle of paper ......city of Iran and the Iranian people, and supports reformist movements such as (Green Movement).• Maintain pressure for reforms of human rights and use it as a pressure card. It should be clear to Iran that pursuing a final agreement on its nuclear program does not mean ignoring human rights abuses within the country. • Take advantage of a common threat between Saudi Arabia and Israel to push for an Arab-Israeli peace agreement. A coalition between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia will fill any void in the region resulting from the American retreat in favor of the Asia-Pacific. This coalition needs to pressure Saudi Arabia and Turkey to resolve their differences resulting from the Arab Spring. I would like this recommendation to streamline diplomatic foreign policy for rapprochement with Iran. And I hope this review helps design an effective foreign policy.
