Topic > Environmental Effects of Air Pollution - 631

In today's world, air pollution is a very important issue to think about because it affects the environment and human health. Environmentally, harmful air pollutants can make up acid rain. It can also make up dangerous ground-level ozone. This would destroy trees, crops, animals and water. This may have to do with human health due to dangerous chemicals such as vinyl chloride in the air causing cancer, birth defects and long-term damage to the lungs. Furthermore, breathing these chemicals can even cause death. Air pollution can arise from both natural and human activities. For example, in the industrial age, people used fossil fuels for transportation. So they were burning a lot of fossil fuels which are a major cause of pollution. During the combustion of fossil fuels, dangerous pollutants such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and particulate matter are released. In particular, carbon dioxide is a chemical that is very harmful to the environment because it contributes to acid rain and changes the climate which affects the environment. The emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere occurs during the combustion of fossil fuels. If there was a lot of carbon dioxide released from fossil fuels, acid rain would occur more. Acid rain contributes to damage to trees and many other forest floors. Furthermore, acid rain sculptures are part of the cultural heritage of the human nation. Another environmental effect of carbon dioxide on air pollution is climate change. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Earth's surface temperature has increased over the past 100 years. Many scientists believe that carbon dioxide pollution is the main culprit because they have evidence to show that ocean water levels have risen due to carbohydrates… middle of paper… Finally, we are done leveling the land for spread manure and few people planted on the ground. In my opinion, the UW Restoration Ecology Network needed this volunteer work because planting a plant has a positive effect on our environment, like removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere which I talked about before which is a dangerous chemical, so we can reduce air pollution by planting a plant. In general, plants absorb carbon dioxide and expel oxygen into the air through their leaves through tiny holes that are called stomata during the day. When the sun is bright, the plant has the necessary light to allow photosynthesis. During this process, the pigment absorbs light and the green tissue of the plant produces glucose. Also, if we plant more, we would reduce the release of carbon dioxide which would harm our environment, so we can protect our environment..
