In order for a victim to exercise their rights, they must know what they are. Victims' rights are the right to be protected, to be informed, to participate, to confer, to make restitution, to a speedy trial, to be treated with fairness, respect for privacy and, above all, the right to be heard (Franks , 2007). . The right to be heard is my favorite right because it is the one that really gives the victim a voice because to have a voice there must be someone who listens to you.
