The diversity in Chicago is astonishing, known for the racial and ethnic contrast of society that has contributed to the cultural and economic value of that great city. Chicago is undoubtedly one of the country's favorite diving cities. The city of Chicago thrives on multicultural diversity and the harmony of its neighborhoods. The city is full of variety, from fantastic restaurants and shopping to breathtaking views from the lakefront or even some of the most spectacular architectural skyscrapers. It is customary for Chicago to defiantly represent diversity and its countless designs. However, there is a diversity in Chicago that tends to go unnoticed the diversity of the people who make up the city. Recently starting a new journey in my life, taking a new job in Chicago, this has given me the opportunity to examine the city in a contemporary and incomprehensible way. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to visit Chicago numerous times for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, but never on a regular daily basis. As a new adventure, I am absorbing all of my new surroundings, including the diversity the city has to offer, including its people. I find myself fascinated by all the diversity which leaves me with numerous questions. However, each day begins with an hour-long ride on the South Shore train from northwest Indiana to Chicago. The train ride alone is filled with a lot of diversity, watching bright individuals interact with each other. All the commuters head in the same direction as me, mainly to go to work, school or maybe to go on a visit. The commute to Chicago is completely different, so there are races, genders, ages, ideas, points of view and perspectives... . half of the card ......m? Are these city folks living on the streets because they have nowhere else to go? Besides, don't they have the means to do anything else? There are at least a hundred more examples I could write about, but I have only shared a few to create a picture of the diversity of individuals. Next time you are in a big city like Chicago take a moment and look around or even just listen you will be amazed at what you see or hear. There's a good chance you'll witness the diversity of individuals that make up that city. Cities like Chicago demonstrate a lot of diversity, as in the ethnic and racial societies that exist within it. However, there is a diversity in Chicago that tends to go unnoticed by many people who pass by on the streets, as does the diversity of the individuals who make up the city.
